Take photos We specialise in taking photos for information, to capture a moment in time for the record. These include photos where there are ethical concerns which make it important to get permission of the subject of the photos, or to ensure the photos are shared in ways that maintain the privacy of individuals.
Enrich the photos with metadata We add machine and human readable data to the photos to give them context for viewers today and in the future. Machine readable geotags are particularly important for large collections of photos such as the Christchurch earthquake photos.
Share content We share our own and other people’s content using a mix of online tools.
Deliver presentations and workshops We talk about Christchurch, sharing information, metadata, using social media tools and other information related topics at conferences, lectures and workshops.
